Sometimes we need a crisis event in order to push us forward, and the Coronavirus seems to be such an event!

The Coronavirus epidemic will change the way we live and especially the way we work. More cyber secure and real time information will be required, more working remote, more transparency and Control, efficiency … or in other words; moving to smart IIoT Systems and Industry 4.0.

Industry 4.0 has been around for some time now, but the adaption of it is limited. The reason for this is, like always when it come for adapting new Technologies – there is always Caution of the "unknown", but when it comes to Industry 4.0 there is also some more tangible barriers such as: Costs, Technology complexity & Security risks.

As the world moves faster towards IIoT and Industry 4.0, it is important to understand.  

1. Industry 4.0 is not a revolution it is more a natural evolution of Industry 3.0. The visibility and transparency phases of Industry 3.0 (the current status of most plans and other production facilities today) are the entrance to Industry 4.0.
2. Industry 4.0 have several stages and there is no need to go all the way, it is a modular methodology and any facility/plant can move from stage to stage according to his need, capabilities and capacity.  
3. With RealiteQ 4.0 the barriers are disappearing, and the benefits remain. RealiteQ 4.0 is exactly there to bridge between the current Technology stage (industry 3.0) and forward all the way to Industry 4.0.
